DIN125 Plain Washers
DIN125 Plain Washers, also named flat washer, used to reduce friction, prevent leakage, provide isolation, prevent loosening, or distribute pressure. These components exist in numerous materials and configurations to perform similar functions. Due to material and manufacturing limitations of threaded fasteners, the bearing surfaces of bolts and other fasteners are relatively small. Therefore, washers are employed to reduce compressive stress on the bearing surface and protect the surfaces of the connected components.
Characteristic
Plain Washers are mainly used to reduce pressure. When there are certain parts where the axial force is very large, the washers may be pressed into a disc shape. In such cases, alternative materials and increased hardness can be used to solve the problem.
Material
The materials of flat washers mainly include carbon steel, stainless steel, copper alloy, etc.
